“My purpose, my whole life, had been to love him and be with him, to make him happy.” – A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron
Dogs know how to make you laugh when you are down and when to snuggle you tighter when you are scared. They are the sweetest comforts, the best shoulders and the warmest blankets. I have said before that God put dogs in our lives to show us a love like His – unconditional, unwavering and so pure.
When Catherine texted to ask about pictures with she and Matt’s new fur baby, I got so excited! I LOVE dogs!! The other day, my bonus kid told me that because the bond dogs have with humans, they are the only animal in the world that will look a person in their eyes. Crazy huh? I don’t know about you, but when my pups look into my eyes, I can *feel* the love they have for me.
When we were deciding on times for our session we had so many things in mind, sunlight (SUPER important), dinner time & Moose’s bedtime! Moose being a young pup, we knew his attention would be similar to a toddler – and just like a real baby, we were also interrupting his normal sleepy time! π We were laughing because the conversations we were having sounded like that of new parents: “How is he sleeping through the night?” “The first night was a little rough, he cried quite a bit, but now, he does pretty well until he has to potty. He wakes again when he is ready to eat in the morning.” My favorite part was when Catherine said that Matt got up one night because Moose wanted company (he was crying a little), so he sat beside his cage with his hand inside until his sweet doodle baby fell back to sleep <3 I cannot wait for these two to have human babies!
Have you had pictures taken with your fur babies?? I highly encourage it! I am so thankful for the sweet moments I have captured of my own pups that I will hold near and dear forever <3
