Cincinnati, Ohio Engagement Photography Session at Roebling Bridge & Ault Park

This week I had the pleasure of traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio to meet one of my KBP Couples for their Engagement pictures. We met at the Roebling Bridge to take full advantage of the city skyline, the great light and all the pretty fall colors the midwest has to offer through the fall.
Since it was cloudy, we started early to get that beautiful, naturally diffused sunlight. The added bonus was practically having this riverfront park to ourselves! Then we headed to Roebling Bridge where we got the city scape of Jake’s home state in the background. <3 I love this bridge! Blues always look so amazing in pictures and this iconic beauty did not disappoint!
Ault Park | Cincinnati, Ohio
Next, we headed to Ault Park – which was not nearly as secluded. Kelli had mentioned that it is a very popular choice amongst photographers and I can see why! It is picture perfect. Landscaping, beautiful trees, open lawn area and a building that resembles a castle, I can only imagine what it looks like in the summer. Oh, how romantic a wedding would be on the Pavilion!
Jake also mentioned that they come to Ault for date nights. They will sit at the overlook where they can watch planes depart & land. Right now would be the perfect time to take advantage of this. The trees are thinning, giving a much better view! While we were there, multiple couples took advantage of this date spot & picnicked on the lawn for their own date night. I believe this is where Kelli & Jake had one of their very first dates as well!
I feel like I have known Kelli my entire life! When we finally met up in person, we could’ve talked for hours about so many different things! Kelli and Jake, thank you for having me along to help tell your engagement & wedding story! I cannot wait until your perfect wedding day!
