This has been an unusually warm winter season here in the river valley of West Virginia. It is rare that we can actually bare the cold in February, let alone take engagement pictures WITHOUT layers and layers of clothing! Is anyone here a snow bunny? I myself would much rather be a snow bird, but until that day comes, couples like Tayler & Nathan keep me excited about the sunlight that peaks through after days upon days of clouds, cold and rain. It’s the little things, right? <3
Tayler is a dog mom and I was so happy to get the chance to meet she and Nathan’s new addition Millie during their engagement session. Had it been a little warmer, you can guarantee we would’ve snapped so many more photos. The couple picked Millie up the day before we met at the bride’s grandma’s so we wanted to make sure she stayed nice and warm (a big thanks to Tayler’s Grandma & Momma for puppy sitting!). P.S. Wait until you see how cute Millie’s big brother Tate is! I sure hope that they both make a cameo on the wedding day!
This Bride to be and I met when she stood beside her cousin at her wedding at The Briar Patch Wedding Barn in Barboursville, WV just a couple years ago! This fall, Nathan & Tayler will be returning to Briar Patch to say their “I dos.” I heard that the bride really likes karaoke and that they both like to dance! I can hardly wait! As much as I don’t want to wish the year away, I am so excited to watch them tie the knot and dance the night away 🙂
